An out-of-market game is a Sunday afternoon CBS or FOX game that your local stations are not airing. If you live away from your favorite team, this is the category that matters most.
What a live TV service gives you
A live TV streaming service shows the games on your local CBS and FOX stations, plus national games on networks like NBC, ESPN, and NFL Network. It does not unlock every other Sunday afternoon game.
What an out-of-market package gives you
The out-of-market package is NFL Sunday Ticket, which is sold through YouTube, either on its own or alongside YouTube TV. It covers regular-season Sunday afternoon games that your local CBS and FOX stations do not show. It does not include your local games, Thursday night, Sunday night or Monday night games, which stay on their own networks. Terms, devices, and prices change from year to year, so check the current details with YouTube or the NFL before buying.
A quick checklist
Find your team’s game on this site and note the network.
Open the game page and check for a Regional restrictions tag.
If your team’s game is not on your local station, look at the out-of-market options.
